Emma is a Holistic Health and Wellbeing Consultant from London, UK.
She works with clients 1-1 and delivers workshops and courses dedicated to teaching people about the different modalities of holistic health and how we can implement them into our day to day lives.
Emma is also a content creator and blogger, sharing information on holistic health modalities through social media to educate, empower and inspire people when it comes creating a holistic lifestyle that is the blueprint and foundation of what it means to embody health.
Growing up in London, Emma was exposed to different cultures and teachings from a very young age due to her social circle and situations that she found herself in with diverse groups of people.
She was an athlete in her teenage years, playing football to a very high standard, as well as being a real all rounder and leader at school on and off the sports field. Emma went on to study English & Communication Studies at university receiving a BA Hons. After university Emma was a teaching assistant and worked with children with special needs, mainly ADHD and found herself looking into teaching as a career choice. However, the education system didn't resonate with her and as much as she enjoyed teaching and working with kids, she decided to pursue a different path.
During her teenage years, the one love she always had was a strong passion and affinity for music. She decided to embark on a career in the music industry, which in turn served her well for many years, giving her incredible life experiences, meeting and working with some of the most high profile names in electronic and rap music and the privilege to travel. Emma attended some of the biggest music events all over the globe such as Glastonbury and Coachella through work, whilst working for some of the biggest companies in the world such as Sony Music and CAA.
However, for years Emma suffered with supposedly random, sometimes serious, chronic physical health problems and doctors couldn't tell her why her body was so susceptible to illness or injury. She wasn't treated as a whole and each incident was always a looked at individually or led to a misdiagnosis. She always bounced back from these incidents and taught herself about how important nutrition was and how to use herbs to support her body, as well as working with various energy healers and attending workshops and courses to expand her knowledge on her body and why it wasn't working optimally.
However, she became seriously ill after a medical procedure went wrong and she ended up bed bound with an extreme symptom list and no answers from the NHS. So she started to research more deeply into the alternative medicine field for more information as to why she was so unwell. It was here that she discovered about environmental illness and toxicity. After finding a functional medicine doctor to test her, she was diagnosed with toxic mould poisoning from black mould in her home, which in turn severely impacted her immune system, nervous system, respiratory system and endocrine system and left her unable to fight off various bacterial, viral and parasitic infections as well as other systemic issues, which in turn had started to shut down her body. Once she discovered the root of the problem, she went on a huge mission to fix it once and for all. She raised money via a Go Fund Me and was accepted to an integrative hospital in Mexico for treatment. After 3 and a half weeks of extensive procedures and treatment, Emma carried on her journey back to health that took her to various countries exploring teachings and modalities using ancient wisdom to find her balance and opened her eyes up to what health actually means.
What resonated most to Emma along her journey was the mind-body connection and the links between the physical, emotional and mental body. After a year of dedicated work to rebuild herself, Emma was given the all clear and continues to thrive.
After realising how much she had learned during her time of healing and discovery, Emma decided to create her own lane and teach people all of the things she had learned along the way. She studied whilst in treatment and gained a level 3 diploma in naturopathy, as well as researching and self studying on top of her own lived experience, which is extraordinary.
She uses the teachings and training from modalities such as naturopathy, TCM, Ayurveda, energy medicine, movement, sound and frequency healing, meditation, breath work, EFT, subconscious reprogramming, inner child work, herbalism + more. She believes in empowering people to create a healthy lifestyle and to find their balance, harmony and inner peace, whilst supporting the body's systems through the modalities above.
Emma's key areas of interest are the body's terrain, the nervous system, the lymphatic system, trauma, emotions and stress and how they create blocks, which leaves us imbalanced in mind, body and soul.
Whilst working 1-1 with clients throughout 2020, she really found the biggest breakthroughs happened, especially with physical health, when working through trauma, difficult emotions and stressors that have been suppressed or repressed.
Emma has completed various types of training, courses and study in relation to trauma, stress, emotions, the nervous system, the lymphatic system and keeps up to date with advances in research in these areas and uses her skillset and knowledge in her 1-1 and group work today.
She uses the mind-body connection and creates a safe space for clients to feel heard and held whilst they delve into their goals and ambitions when it comes to their physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health, allowing them to evolve into being the version of themselves they know they can be.
Emma has the knowledge, wisdom and tools to support clients on whatever journey they find themselves on.
